The first time I saw Tufts was when I was in third grade because by brother, who was a senior at the time, was interested in it. Part of the reason I was so interested in it was because of tour guide was extremely enthusiastic about it and I thought ‘anyone who is this excited about their college must REALLY be having a good experience.’ From then on, whenever one of my parents’ friends would jokingly ask me where I wanted to go to college (‘jokingly’ because this would be around fifth grade or so), I would quickly yell “TUFTS!!!” Even now when adults ask me where I hope to be, Tufts is the first answer given. I think it definitely says something that this love has lasted for nine years. A place like that is where I want to end up from this college process. I overnighted in October with my good friend, Sarah Cordle, and the experiences that I had with her were unforgettable. It was so nice to be welcomed into such a warm community even though I would only be with them for a matter of hours. My tour and my overnight further intensified my love for Tufts and showed me that it can give me everything I want from my college experience. This is why I am in love with Tufts.
